Redwood grove family fun play on a warm and beautiful Sunday morning in Los Altos is one of my favorite ways to spend a Sunday morning.
Sunday morning sessions are one of my favorite times of day to play and photograph as families have so many wonderful traditions on a Sunday and I love being a part of that tradition. This family loves to spend their Sundays outside, playing ball and visiting a new place so they can watch their little one soak in new places. And what better place to have our Sunday session than in the redwood grove tucked in the city of Los Altos.
This was a perfect in-between spot for us and since they’ve never been, they loaded up their car with snacks, toys, and balls so they could take advantage of the location and the day while in Los Altos. This was also one of those special sessions where dad gets to be in the photos too. Dad is also a photographer so knowing that he tends to be behind the camera taking awesome photos of his son, I wanted to make sure that we took in those bonding moments not only with his son but with his awesome wife. Being in the photo is rare and special for us photographers so knowing that I can help have them be in the photo makes my day.
