when you have an endless field of yellow mustard flowers and girlfriends, you know that it’s the perfect combination for a valentine’s day adventure.
i visited this incredible field last year and once i started to see the blossoms of the yellow buds, i really wanted to make a trip before the inevitable plow (which is right between feb/march and this land is in current development talks for a costco so must take advantage of it). i asked emilia’s friends if they wanted to come and adventure with us and of course, let me photograph them having some fun.
it would have been nice to stay longer, watching the sun set behind the fields but we were a bit unprepared for some of the chaos. it was muddy, i lost my shoe in the mud, and the best part, we had no way to clean ourselves (i had only four baby wipes on me ha). so we were all pretty worn out quickly. but it was fun and i think that another trip needs to happen soon again…but this time with some towels.
