i wish that i could pinpoint the moment when i realized that i wanted to capture life in photos. like many, i have loved photography since i was a little (i spent college with my favorite camera always in tow: a polaroid – original instant gratification) but there isn’t one frame that stands out but rather hundreds that helped me get to where i am today. i started my business three years ago and it has been amazing with all the wonderful people that i have met with their beautiful moments showcased on their walls.
so during my july business trip out of los angeles, i had the wonderful opportunity to have a one on one mentorship with an amazing photographer, joy from wildflowers photography. i originally met her in 2009 as she was our wedding photographer and ever since then, i have loved seeing her work and always felt drawn to the magic that she instills in her photos.
our day was full and fulfilling. a wonderful lunch to sitting in the trailer talking about next steps with my business and even a few photo sessions including one with a beautiful family at a sheep farm. it’s going to be journey as i begin to use what i learned to build even more.
