oh a family fun maternity session, yay! i first photographed this family when mom and dad were preparing for the arrival on their first. we spent the morning at their home, prepping their nursery, folding itty bitty baby clothes (baby socks and onesies goodness), and snacking on her favorite craving (fresh fruit whereas baby two had a different craving: pizza and salty food).
so when they announced baby two was on the way, we wanted to do something a bit different for their maternity session. they love to hike and finish their outdoor fun day with fresh pizza and video games. so for our family fun maternity session, we headed off to their favorite local park in los altos to run through the redwoods, play on the swings, and finished off by enjoying fresh pizza and an arcade at their favorite restaurant.
every family has their own family fun days and i love being able to follow along for their family fun soaking in their family of three (four with their fur baby) before their little girl arrived! can’t wait for baby girl’s arrival and their newborn family session 🙂
during your pregnancy with your second, how was it different from the first? was there different cravings? did you want to adventure more than nest? these are small moments that i love to think about and incorporate into our maternity session, because every family and maternity is different so let’s celebrate that!
