with the long days and the warm evenings, it’s been the perfect time to venture out for an evening at the barn near our home.
since emilia started ballet, she is in love with twirls and always needs to make sure that whatever she is wearing can properly twirl. so while she twirled for her sister, carina was in hysterics, like gut busting laughter as she watched the twirls. she would even lift to arms to try and copy big sister. it was such a beautiful sound as it echoed through this location. 
now best part of this evening? the husband met us after i was done taking pictures with dinner so we could have a fun friday dinner eating on the picnic benches. but emilia wanted to use the blankets for a real picnic in the grass. sure it may have been messy with carina trying to grab all of our food with a few condiment disasters on the blankets with not enough napkins so everyone was a sticky mess. but it was a perfect dinner as it was an evening to remember.
by the way, i should throw in this photo. as i was sneaking in some cell phone photos for my instagram, i wanted to show that not all the twirls are ideal, some are perfectly imperfect, giggle.
and speaking of imperfect, i love these photos and all the moments that we captured during our impromptu dinner evening however what you don’t see is the mess that i was. with it being spring, my allergies are getting worse. not only that but since having carina, i get painful hives (usually in the morning and evenings, no clue why). they started getting better (where they would happen maybe every other day) but laying in the grass for many of these shots caused me to have an incredibly painful flare up. my entire body was burning and itching and i was miserable. but hey, at least i got some great shots. work through the pain 😀
